1. WHOLE SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME (WSIP)
A package of services developed by our expertise in response to the needs of teachers and managers of schools to support whole school improvement. This includes:
School Improvement Plans (SIP) and School Action Plans (SAP) that are designed after a Baseline Study of individual schools identifying their strengths and areas for improvement; to work in partnership with the schools on the areas identified for improvement.
2. TRAINING PROGRAMMES
Leadership Training - enable school managers to focus on student related and parental needs, the means of achieving school improvement and gaining the best from all teachers and students.
Teacher Training - enable continuing professional education and development.
Student Orientation Programme - A Programme on study skills and life skills held for students in schools.
Parent Orientation Programme - involve the parent community in the activities of the schools; CfBTES creates awareness of developmental milestones in children and advises and guides parents on good practices in bringing up their children.
Subject Specific Workshops - are conducted by implementing activity based learning for primary and middle school teachers using creative educational materials and strategies for teaching and learning of Mathematics and Science. The workshop format is demonstrative, interactive and practical.
School Self Reviews - where the school reviews its own progress as part of the Whole School Improvement Programme.
CfBTES has conducted Baseline Studies and has designed and developed Customized School Improvement Plans in over 300 Schools from 2004 to 2009. This includes a wide range of both government and private schools catering to girls, boys and mixed gender groups. It also includes schools catering to students from low, medium and high end schools.
CfBTES has provided WSIP (Whole School Improvement Programme) to over 150 schools from 2004 to 2009. Teacher and Principals Training is an integral component of this Programme with a school average of 40 teachers. CfBTES conducts Teacher Orientation Programmes for schools at the beginning of the academic year for as many as a 1000 teachers from various schools. Under WSIP, CfBTES has conducted Parent Orientation Programmes (POPs) in more than 200 schools with different needs and on different topics.
CfBTES has provided technical expertise in setting up various international schools through support in designing and developing curriculum, teacher and management trainings.
3. QUALITY AUDIT
Standalone quality assessment and baselines
Quality Audit or quality inspection and certification of schools worldwide through a quality audit process for the school to demonstrate and celebrate the achievement of internationally accepted standards in their school's functioning. Quality audit is a method of quality assurance which engages the entire school community in a continuous process of self-evaluation, reflection, and improvement. It demands strictness based on data, approaches and documentation of results. Quality is about being the best a school can be on behalf of the students it serves.

Through the Early Childhood Education Programme CfBTES provides advice and guidance to set up pre-primary schools, day care centres and rural early childhood education centres in designing their facilities, classrooms as well suggesting and identifying appropriate child friendly and safe play materials. CfBTES contributes on the academic front by designing & reviewing age appropriate and activity based preschool & day-care curriculums. It formulates strategies, policies and processes to enable the smooth operation of the centres. CfBTES also extends continuous support to staff to enable them to perform according to the desired standards. It conducts periodic and meticulous monitoring of the centres' operations and academics. It helps the client in identifying skilled teaching staff from different academic institutions by conducting campus interviews. It also trains and conducts workshops for teaching and non-teaching staff. CfBTES conducts parent orientation programs on different topics related to child development as well as counsels parents and teachers in times of need.
CfBTES has set up a chain of Preschool and Day Care Centres called Sunshine for the SatNav Technologies group. It helped them to build the chain from one to thirteen nurseries. It has headed the operations to manage the whole process of the academic and administrative functions of these thirteen nurseries and day care centers.
CfBTES also manages and monitors 37 community led nurseries called 'Balabadis' in the rural districts of Andhra Pradesh. CfBTES has customized modules for Nursery teachers in aspects like child development, process and methods, time management and the evaluation process. It has specially designed modules for managers of Nursery Schools on school administration and management including marketing strategies. In addition, well designed monitoring formats have been designed to collect information and conduct regular review meetings.
CfBTES has customized curriculum for the first four classes - Play group (1 ½ yrs), Nursery (2 ½ yrs), LKG (3 ½ yrs) and UKG (4 ½ yrs) - and supports that curriculum with over 750 worksheets and an accompanying Activity Bank consisting of rhymes, stories and games. CfBTES has designed a curriculum for Day Care centres which are primarily for children aged 3 months and upwards. It has also developed after school 'Day Care' activities. CfBTES is currently developing a curriculum for rural and tribal community 'Atalabadis' which means Early Childhood Education Centres in Telugu. It has developed a Handbook for teachers to manage these rural preschools. CfBTES has also developed evaluation tools and customized report cards for recording the progress of each child.

CfBTES is a registered centre for the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Diploma and Certificate programmes to enhance the professional skills of in-service teachers and trainers. This program allows these skills to be assessed and accredited providing proof of the teachers' or trainers' competence and ability. These qualifications are recognized in over 139 countries across the world.
